Five pieces for two violin and Piano  ที่พวกเราเล่นนั้น แต่ละท่อนของบทเพลง  ซึ่งเครื่องดนตรีแต่ละชิ้นมีความโดดเด่นเทียบเท่ากัน ไม่ว่าจะเปียโนหรือไวโอลินที่มีการเล่นสอดประสานกัน  และถ่ายทอดเป็นบทเพลงออกมาได้อย่างงดงาม  โดยแบ่งออกเป็น 5 ท่อน ได้แก่ ท่อนที่ 1 Prelude ท่อนที่ 2 Gavotte ท่อนที่ 3 Elegy ท่อนที่ 4 Waltz ท่อนที่ 5 Polka  โดยพวกเราจะเล่นทั้งหมด 3 ท่อน  คือ Prelude, Gavotte, Elegy  ที่ประพันธ์โดย  Dmitri Shostakovich  นักดนตรีและนักประพันธ์เพลงชาวรัสเซีย  ผู้มีผลงานการประพันธ์เพลงประกอบสื่อต่าง ๆ มากกว่า 100 เรื่อง ในบทเพลงนี้  ท่อนต่าง ๆ มาจากการรวบรวมบทประพันธ์หลาย ๆ ชิ้นของ Shostakovich โดย Levon Atovmyan ผู้เป็นเพื่อนของ Shostakovich  เขาได้ทำการเรียบเรียงบทเพลงนี้ไว้สำหรับไวโอลินและเปียโนนั่นเองครับ

           โดยท่อนแรก Prelude  เป็น  Ternary Form (ABA) ที่แบ่งเป็น 3 เซคชัน  ในตอนเริ่มของบทเพลง จะมีการบรรเลงด้วยเปียโนสั้น ๆ  เป็นการเปิดท่อน  เช่นเดียวกับส่วนอื่น ๆ  ยกเว้นส่วนที่ 3 ที่ไม่มีการซ้ำของทำนองในช่วงเริ่ม  และจบท่อนแรกนี้ด้วยท่อนจบของท่อนสั้น ๆ  ส่วนต่อมาอยู่ในบันไดเสียง B minor และอยู่ในความเร็ว Moderato  อยู่ในเครื่องหมายประกอบจังหวะ 4/4  มีจังหวะที่ค่อนข้างช้า  และเมื่อบรรเลงพร้อมกับไวโอลินก็จะฟังสบาย  การใช้คันชักในบทเพลงท่อนนี้  โดยส่วนมากใช้คันชักแบบการเล่นเทคนิค Legato  ซึ่งเป็นการสีโดยทำให้มีเสียงเชื่อมต่อกันครับ 

              ท่อนที่สอง  Gavotte  ชื่อนี้เดิมเป็นชื่อเรียกเพลงเต้นรำพื้นบ้านของประเทศฝรั่งเศส  ที่มีความเร็วปานกลาง

             และท่อนที่สาม Elegy  คำนี้สื่อถึงบทกลอนที่เศร้า  ความเศร้าโศก  หรือสามารถสื่อถึงความอ่อนโยน  สดใส  หรือความน่าคำนึงหวนถึง  ความรู้สึกรักได้เช่นกัน  จึงทำให้ท่อนนี้มีจังหวะที่ค่อนข้างช้า

              บทเพลงที่มีความหลากหลายในท่วงทำนองของเสียงดนตรี  และมีความหลากหลายในด้านอารมณ์ของบทเพลงอีกด้วยครับ

               Five pieces for two violin and Piano is the song that we have played.  In each section, each music instrument had the same remarkableness.  We played the piano harmonized with the violin and delivered beautiful music. The song has been divided into 5 passages. The first passage was Prelude. The second passage was Gavotte.  The third passage was Elegy. The fourth passage was Waltz. The fifth passage was Polka. We played 3 passages i.e. Prelude, Gavotte, Elegy which has been composed by Dmitri Shostakovich who was Russian musician and composer. He composed songs for various media over 100 songs. Each passage of this song were compiled from many Shostakovich’s musical composition. Levon Atovmyan who was Shostakovich ‘s friend complied this song for violin and piano.

               The first passage. Ternary Form (ABA) has been divided into 3 sections. At the beginning of the song, he played piano for a short time like other passages except the third passage that did not repeat the melody at the beginning. The first passage finished with short passage. The next part was on the B minor scale with Moderato speed and in the 4/4 rhythm markings that was rather slow tempo and when playing with violin. It was easy listening. By using violin bow in this passage, generally played by Legato techniques which produced interlocking sound.

               The second passage, Gavotte was the name of Medium speed folk dance in France.

               The third passage Elegy, conveyed to sad poem or gentle, brightness or a sense of love which caused of this part.

               This song has various melodies of music and emotions.
